IMPHAL, Aug 24: A simple ceremony was organized at Moreh on 26 August for handing over of Engineer Plant Equipments for assistance in road construction to Myanmar. During the ceremony one Bulldozer BD 80 and two Road Rollers were presented to Myanmar on behalf of Government of India and the Indian Army by Commandant 31 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector under the aegis of HQ IGAR(S). This gesture by India will further strengthen camaraderie, cooperation and amiable relationship between the two friendly nations.
