IMPHAL, Aug 25: Manipur defeated Jharkhand by 2-0 at the ongoing 7th subjunior girls national football championship being held at Haldwani, Uttarkhand.
In a quarter final league match played today against Jharkhand, Manipur had an easy win as Diana and Rajnibala scored one goal each in the 33rd and 73rd minute respectively and went on to win the match 2-0.
Manipur will next play Sikkim in another quarter final match on August 27.
