IMPHAL, Aug 23: The state level spot painting competition in commemoration of the 45th Hunger Marchers’ Day was held today at the Ema Khunthokhanbi Shanglen, DM College campus organized by the All Manipur Students’ Union (AMSU) Manipur, under the theme of “Artificial scarcities of essential commodities give the public of Manipur a harsh life.”
Altogether 145 students of the state participated in the painting competition, and with the experience of the state situation, the painting competition mostly focused on the real thing that the student’s have met in their life.
The 1st position holder will be awarded of Rs. 2500 cash prize with memento and certificate, 2nd position holder will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 2000 with memento and certificate, and for the 3rd position holder Rs. 1500 cash with memento and certificate, and 4th to 10th position consolation prizes of Rs. 500 with memento and certificate.
