IMPHAL, Sep 18: In an official release from the PRO/Deputy Commissioner, IE District, a central team of the National Foundation for Communal Harmony comprising of Lalit Kumar, Secretary and K.C Kumar, Assistant Secretary visited the District HQ at Porompat today.
They met the families of the victims of terrorist violence during their visit and clarified certain points on the financial assistance give to the families of terrorist violence. Further the DC of Imphal East explained that there are 14 continuing cases at present and 23 new cases have already been proposed for approval and sanction. The release further stated that the scheme will be implemented properly and more families of victims who are deserving will be covered under the scheme along with a publicity campaign which will be launched to popularize the scheme in the District.
