IMPHAL, September 8: The Revolutionary Peoples’ Front (RPF) paid revolutionary homage to its cadres Ahanthem Sunder Singh, s/o A. Mammi Singh of Phumlou Keiroi Maning Leikai.
A statement released by GM Changjou, Chief of Publicity of the outfit stated that late Sunder Singh was working at the GHQ procurement department under the alias of Second Lt. Nanao. It said the armed wing of the outfit paid a revolutionary salute to the deceased who expired after a prolonged illness.
Nanao joint the outfit in the year 1999 and after geeting basic military training he was assigned as signal operator of the 101 mobile Bn. as Staff Sergeant of GHQ, procurement representative No.1 of the PLA.
The late cadre was also involved in a sucessful ambush at Moreh forest gate near telephone office in the year 2003 wherein one AR personnel was killed and three sustained inury, it said.
The outfit condoled the demise of the cadre in every unit department and station and share the grief and sorrow of the family.
