Imphal, Oct 11: The sitting of the State Advisory Board on NSA under the chairmanship of Justice (Retd) SP Rajkhowa for the approval of the detention of 20 under trails mostly activists of different underground organisations under the the National Security Acts as recomended by the different magistrate and state Home department as usual has today approved the the detention of the said undertrials.
According to highly placed official source the the sitting of the state Advisory Board on NSA with the chairman by the Justice (Retd) Sp Rajkhowa, Dr Yamnikanta Phukan, Sr. Advocate, Joginder Singh, Sr. Advocate as members have continued their sitting since it started from October 9.
The sitting continued further today in the office of Central Jail, Sajiwa to examine the cases of detention of the 20 under trials indentified as Ngaruw Koningam Moyon alias Paul Mizo alias Kobben, 48, son of late Ng Thangja of Mizo of Konllathabi village of Chandel district, Nongmaithem Soley Singh, 36, son of later N Naba Singh of Lairenkabi Awang Leikai, presently resident of Kakwa Namierakpam Leikai, Laishram Ningol Nongmaithem ongbi Romita Devi, 34, wife of Nongmaithem Inaobi Singh alias Philip alias Mukherjee alias Paul of Lairenkabi Awang Leikai, Konjengbam Inaobi Singh alias Raghumani alais Rgahu Basanta, 46, son of late K Modhu Singh of Wangkhei Khunou near Citizen Club.
Mayengbam Nonglenngamba alias Elen alias Prem, 19, son of M Ranjit of Nungoi Mayai Leikai, Ningthoujam Ranjit Singh, 42, son of N Chandra Singh of Thanga Salam Leikai, presently residence of Nagamapal Singjubung Leirak, Thoudam Premchandra Singh, 38, son of Th Mangi Singh of Thoubal Mayai Leikai, Kongkham Birkuamar Singh alias Bebe, 34, son of K Rajendro Singh of of Haobam Marak Keisham Leikai.
Herojit Singh alias Mangal alias Prem, 27, son of Th Tomal Singh of Sagolband Tayel Kolom Leikai, Heikrujam Ranjan, 19, son of H Ninghthouremba alias Bocha of Nungoi Mayai Leikai, Mathurabasimayum Tarji Sharam alias Tomba alias Tombapu, 42, son of M Gourachandra Sharam of Kshetri Laikai, Chingakham Bembem Chanu alias Shakhenbu alias Henbi, 23, daughter of Ch Palando Singh of Andro Maringthel Leikai, Khwairakpam Jeeten Singh alias Khomba alias Dene, 44, son of Kh Sanajaoba Singh of Awang Sekmai Leikai.

The official source further said the final approval for the detention of the said under trials who have been finalized during the final sitting of the state Advisory Board on NSA which was convened yesterday official source added.
