IMPHAL, Sept, 30: The Liangmai Naga Council (LNC), Manipur & the Zeliangrong Union has expressed grieve over the demise of Z.Magaibou, ex-MLA, from Nkou Village, Tamei who expired yesterday at his residence.
The LNC held a condolence service of the deceased at Gaililong Baptist Church, Tamei, hometown of the deceased. The LNC held a minute` silence for the departed soul while the school students of Hamai High School and Apou Kading High School of Tamei held a procession from the Bazar to the Church.
Further, frontal organizations like the VACC, LPB, Women Front, LNKR, YF and Social Workers gave a condolence message stating that the Liangmai Community has lost a great leader and that they will always be indebted to the departed leader.
The Zeliangrong Union (Assam, Manipur & Nagaland) also condoles the untimely demise of Mangaibou.
A release of the general secretary, ZU (AMN) said Z.Magaibou’s demise will leave a vacuum which can never be filled. ZU while sharing the grief and sorrow of the bereaved family stated that Mangaibou was a soft spoken and dynamic leader and his contribution towards the Zeliangrong community will always be remembered.
