IMPHAL, Nov 4: As a part of ongoing welfare measures a water storage tank was handed over to the villagers of Lau pao chum under the various MCA projects undertaken by 28 Assam Rifles of HQ 9 sector under the aegis of IGAR(S). The water storage tank has the capability of storing 30000 ltr of water .The water tank was handed over to Pradhan of village in the inauguration ceremony by Commandant 28 Assam Rifles. The ceremony was attended by all villagers of Lau pao chum who thanked the Assam Rifles for this valuable contribution to the village.
