Dimapur, November 11 (NPN ): DC Dimpaur Maong Aier, drawing attention to allegations levelled at him by Dimapur DCC anti-corruption cell on random issue of land pattas in certain areas of Dimapur town, Tuesday released a point-wise clarification saying he did not issue any allotment under his own discretion but was done under the approval of the state government.
The DDC cell Monday accusing DC Dimapur of issuing land pattas to some individual/parties, had sought immediate clarification from the DC’s office basing on what grounds and under whose directive the pattas were issued.
According to deputy commissioner, he had issued patta to NPF for construction of office building at PWD colony in pursuance of the government letter No.LR/3-1/99/Dt.28th May ’09.
The DC also said that in reference to SSG letter No.G-13/5-03/00 (Vol.1)/Dt.1st July ’08, the state government vide letter No.LR/3-1/99/Dt.23rd June ’08 approved allotment of land for establishment of policlinic at Dimapur.
“In pursuant to that letter ECHs polyclinic has been given allotment (circuit house complex) for construction of polyclinic for ex-servicemen,” DC clarified in a written statement.
On issuing land pattas belonging to Manipur State Transport to some individual, the DC said pattas were issued in reference to government letter No.LR/3-4/Dmr/2004/Sept ’10, which had conveyed approval for bifurcation of MTS and at block 3 to private individuals.
The land situated at block 6 near public college of commerce was issued to private individuals since 1979 & 89 through government letter No.Rev/LS/23/76/Pt-11/Dt.19/03//79 & LR/11-17/85/Dt.07/9/87 respectively, the DC stated.
