Ukhrul school celebrates excellence

    UKHRUL, Nov.13: Little Angel English School (LAES), the oldest private school and also the only institution in Ukhrul District affiliated to Central Booard of Secondary Education (CBSE) today held a grand ceremony of “Literary Function” aiming to promote advanced technology knowledge for brighter students.

    The function was held at the LAES campus from 12:00 noon where all students from lower classes to higher secondary level put up enchanting performances.

    All the teaching and non-teaching staffs were also present.

    The function was most impressive and remarkable and its main theme stressed on the “open-floor” debate on the topic, “Lack of quality due to delinquency”.

    Very smart, intelligent and vocal leaders from the school houses, Blue, Green, Red and Yellow debated the topic.

    In the Extempore speech competition Chinaopam Class X spoke on, Shiroi lily. Joyti of Class 1X spoke on Sports Week, while Some spome on Forest of Class X1(Sc).

    Khawungsem of Class X1 spoke about Beauty, Shimton expressed the idea of Examination and Edward talked on Safety Pin.

    Shanchuila X1 spoke on friendship, Leiyani X1 on Ball. Interestingly the Vice-Principal Awoming Luikham enthralled the gathering with laughter and gaiety while speaking on his topic “Kiss”.

    A recitation programme, solo singing competition, spelling-bee and many more educative items were included in the function.
