IMPHAL, Dec 5: The troops of 23 Assam Rifles of 10 Sector under HQ IGAR(South) launched search operation in the area Yesterday afternoon recovered 400 kgs of Ganja, 1/2 kgs of Opium and one country made Single barrel gun from Waikhong Jungle
According to an official statementof PRO IGAR sourth, Imphal, in the incident was occured while discovering the transportation of contraband drugs in general area Waikhong Jungle of Ukhrul district,troops of 23 Assam Rifles of 10 Sector under HQ IGAR(South) launched search operation in the area yesterday afternoon.
The official statement further said, the recovered items were handed over to Lamlai Police station.
