IMPHAL, Jan 30: Troops of 23 Assam Rifles and 12 MARATHA LI under HQ IGAR(South) launched a joint operation in the general area Mayang Imphal and apprehended one PLA(RPF) militant at around 1.30 am today.
The apprehended cadre has been identified as No. RV 3127 L Kofen alias Khangba, 31 yrs, s/o L Biren of Langthabal Phura Makhong, Imphal West and was handed over to Mayang Imphal Police station.
