IMPHAL, Jan 15: The League of Callow Patriots, Wangkhei Ningthem Pukhri Mapal, has extended its warm greetings to the people of the state for the auspicious Emoinu festival on January 17.
A release of the organization said that Emoinu is being celebrated to usher peace and prosperity in the whole state of Manipur and so all people should join the celebration.
The Ethno Heritage Council (HERICOUN) has also wished the people of the state for the Emoinu and Gaan-Ngai festival.
The Poirei Eethiba Lup (PEEL) will also celebrate the 20th Emoinu festival with traditional rituals on January 17 at Yumnam Leikai Lairembi Lampak, said a release.
