IMPHAL, Feb 18: The 4th Help and Development Organization Crafts Bazaar 2010, which will be held till February 27 was inaugurated today by the IMC chairman Khaidem Borkeshore Singh at Yaiskul YAC ground in the presence of 150 representatives of different vendors and stalls of special artesian products including and officials of the Development Commisioner (Handicrafts) Ministry of Textiles government of India.
While speaking at the inaugural function, secretary of the organising committee A. Bimol Singh stated that the main objective and aim of organizing such craft bazaar in Imphal and different other places of the state is to create a new platform for marketing of crafts products in the state as well as outside the state.
The opening ceremony was attended by ICM chairman Kh Borkeshore Singh, T. Rollee Vareishim asst director (H) Marketing and Service Extention Centre office of the DC handicrafts government of India, S. Birendra Singh function manager, OSD, Handicrafts, Directorate of Commerce and Industries government of Manipur, Ng Maniroton Asst Director Small Medium Enterprises Govt. of India as chief guest, president and guests of honour respectively.
