IMPHAL, Feb 1: Rich tributes were paid to Ima Kombi, on the observation of the 7th death anniversary of the Meira Paibi leader organized by Poirei Leimarol Meira Paibi Apunba, Manipur at GM Hall today.
The observation was attended by Th. Iboyaima known as father of social worker, L. Memchoubi, president, Purei Leimarol Meira Paibi Apunba Manipur, M. Kainahanbi, President, Map Network as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
Speaking at the observation Th. Iboyaima referring to the prevailing situation in the state said that it is high time for the people to leave their fear in order to fight against the enemy and the corruption instead and go further to bring peace in the State.
Ema Kombi fought for justice till her last breath for peace in state, the people of the state specially women folk (Meira Paibi) must follow her footstep, march forward for the welfare of the State like the great leader, he added.
