LAMKA Feb 11: The elimination round of Zomi Miss bella contest which is usually conducted on the occassion of Namni celebration that falls on February 20 each year was performed today at Veven Farm near Mata village.
Altogether 46 contenders vied today so as to qualify for the real and final competition as part of the grand celebration on the 20th next at Suangdoh village along the Guite Road.
The bella copntest will be themed as Beauty with Perfection This year’s selected Miss Zomi will be made richer by Rs 30,000, the 1st runners by Rs 20,000/, 2nd by Rs 15,000/ , with a consolation prize of Rs 5000 each for the underdog sources from the organising committee has said There will be selection of Miss Photogenic , Beautiful Hair , Personality and then Best designer who will all be given an incentive which the organisers say will be fixed later.
