IMPHAL, Feb 10: The KKYNSA sports meet, 2011 commenced from February 9 at Mapao Public Ground, Senapati district.
Altogether 500 athletes are taking part in the sports meet.
In today’s football matches, Mapao Khullen beat Phungthan by 1-0, Khamson beat Hongmahn by 2-0 and Hongmahn thrashed Aheng by 6-0 in the senior category.
In women’s volleyball, Mapao Keithelmanbi defeated Hoome, Sanakeithel beat Maichon and Tanni beat Khamson.
In men’s volleyball, Theiva beat Phunthan, Kachai beat Sanakeithel and Maichon beat Tanni.
