IMPHAL, March 11: The proscribed KCP (Militay Council) has claimed its hand behind the bomb blast at Nongmeibung, Ananda Singh Academy yesterday. A press release by the secretary, Military Affairs Lalheiba Meitei stated that the blast was carried out by the outfit’s military wing, the KFL, 5th Lanjaba Unit (Special Demo Team) under the instruction of the central security council.
The release adds that the outfit will carry on with the operation clear cut to drive away foreigners on schedule. The failure of the state to discuss the seriousness of the decision taken by the outfit may result in unwanted incidents, and the state government should also be held responsible for failure to carry out necessary actions, the release states.
