IMPHAL, Feb 2: The Chandel Naga Civil Society Co-ordination Core Committee (CNCSCC) in a statement has appealed the immediate revocation of the cabinet decision of the SPF Government of posting senior MCS officers as executive director of DRDA.
It said that it demand the deputy commissioner to be chairman of the DRDA which is prescribed in the guideline of the DRDA, a centrally sponsored scheme in the interest of the people.
Further it appealed the concerned senior MCS officer not to take personal interest in taking the charge of the executive director of the DRDA Chandel adding it warned that the committee should not be held responsible for any untoward incident taking place in connection with the matter.
It further noted that the ADC elected and its members are declared as null and void during Naga People Convention held on July 1, 2010, at Tazhamzam, Senapati.
