IMPHAL March 17: A press release by COTA warns the state government to acknowledge the agreement made between the teachers body and the government in regard to payment of central revised pay scale in totality. The release states that it was learnt from reliable sources that the government is planning to modify the three tier pay stricture to a one tier system ,which is condemnable, the body urges the government to stick to its word or the same protests will be carried out yet again.
