IMPHAL March 2: On the occasion of Maha Shivaratri, 69 Batallion of the CRPF stationed at Mantripukhri organized a 24 hour Akhand Shiv Path Pooja yesterday and was followed by Nagar Parikrama today for Pran PPratistha ceremony of Lord Vishwanath at the newly constructed temple on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri festival, a press release bu Commandant of 69 Bn.CRPF ,UB Mishra states.
Personnel of the batallion presented sweets and arranged Langar(food Distribution) for a large number of civilians including orphans of Mother Teresa Home,Imphal and Children`s Home at Leinkhol.
The release further states that the CO,officers,SOs and men of the unit humanitarian service was appreciated by the public. RS Chouhan,DIGP of CRPF graced the occasion and CO Mishra also expressed desire to organize simlar events in future,the release states.
