IMPHAL, March 24: The state Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh who is also holding the portfolio of the state finance said that the state government is yet to discuss matters related to the payment of 6th Pay arrears for the pensioners of the state, while replying to the question raised by MLA L Nandakumar Singh during the question and answer hour of the Assembly session today.
In yet another question raised by the MLA Thonkholun Haokip, the Chief Minister replied that, it is a fact that, Manipur State Information Technology Society had invited applications for the various post on contract basis recently including Informatics Officer Grade-I, Informatics Officer Grade II & Grade-IV etc. Replying to the question further he added that, the quota Reservation System (ST/SC/OBC) will be imposed as usual, in this regard the state Department of Personal’s Office Memorandum dt 11-11-2009 regarding reservation for ST/SC/OBC is applicable and candidates to the said post have been short listed for DPC and the short listing was based on the Recruitment Rules and which includes minimum of 50% marks in the essential educational qualification of the candidates.
