IMPHAL, March 5: As observed annually the All Manipur Women’s Voluntary Association (AMAWOVA) is going to observe the “International Women’s Day” on March 8, at the Manipur Dramatic Union (MDU), hall, Yaiskul Police Lane.
The AMAWOVA said they have been observing the day with focusing on a specific theme. This year the AMAWOVA is going to observe the day with giving special focus on theme “Education”.
The Kanglei Chanura Chaokhat Lamching Lup, (KANGLEICHAL) is also observing the day at the Manipur Press club at 9:30 am. The observation will be the 8th observation organized by the KANGLEICHAL under the theme “the role of Meira Paibis in Manipur”.
