IMPHAL March 5: PREPAK Imphal West District Commander Jameson, in a press release has refuted the police claim that one Thounaujam Jayenta alias Hera, 25, s/o Buno and Khumanthem Chandramani, 30, s/o (late) Thambalngou, both residents of Awang Khunou Mayai Leikai are cadres of the outfit and have received basic military at Keibul Lamjao and was involved in an ambush at Kakching Lamkhai. The release states that both persons have nothing to do with the outfit and the police are making baseless charges to malign the image of the outfit. There is also no s/s captain Japan in the outfit, the statement further added.
