IMPHAL, March 13: Total black out in the entire Tamenglong district for more than a week, even after the innaguration of a 133/33 KV sub-station at Rengpang by the state Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh has ruffled the people of the district mainly the students who will are preparing for their board exams.
Ridiculing the recently inaugurated power sub station in the district, a release of the Zeliangrong Baudi (AMN) has stated that Tamenglong district used to enjoy regular power supply before the commission of the 133/33 KV sub station however after the inauguration of the sub station the district has been plunged into complete darkness.
It has further ridiculed the state CM for bringing darkness to the district after he had inaugurated the sub station in the district recently and further added that the students of the district have to dole out hundreds of money for buying candles and kerosene oil, which has could be said as the Ibobi led SPF government fleencing the poor people of the district.
The release has further warned that in case the state government and the concerned electricity department failed to resume regular supply of power at the earliest, the organization will shut down the sub station.
