IMPHAL, June 11: The 7th Governor’s Cup state level Fencing championship kicked off today at Indoor Stadium of Khuman Lampak sports complex.
Altogether 270 Fencers both boys and girls from eight teams are taking part in the championship.
On the opening day, the final of Epee individual (girls) was played in which S Chingkheinganbi of UPAA took the gold after defeating Russia of SWC.
Chingkheinganbi won the match by 15-11 points. The third place was bagged by S Meiteilembi.
