*Prosperity and Penury.
2. Plan of Action: Plan Your Work and Work your Plan. Plan your Career now and Work on your Career for true Success. He, who fails to Plan, Plans to Fail.
Nobody Plans to fail: They just Fail to Plan.

*While the past cannot be change, a future can be spoil if the present is not taken care of.

In the same Way successful Students don’t study different syllabus; they studied the same syllabus in a different way.
For eg: Those students who stood in Top Ten in HSLC Exams and the Failed Students: they all studied the same Books prescribed by BSEM. What makes the difference depends on the different ways & methods they followed to study the same Books.

Career Planning for Central Services Competitive Exams:
We your parents (40 yrs and above) pursued our studies without any guidance; especially we who hailed from rural areas. Even after we passed our Master’s Degree, we were not clear which career to pursue. We were studying blindly. We got stumble in our way. We don’t want you to face the same problem that we faced in our students life. So, I want to present a glimpse on various Competitive Exams that can be faced in different stages of our qualification.

A. Competitive Exams for Central Services after Passing Matriculate and Class XII Standards: Even if our parents are not able to support us beyond Matriculates or Class-XII standard: it will be good not to lose heart. There are many job opportunities which we can tried.
1. Combined Matric Level Exam: Conducted By Staff Selection Commission: Form Submission = December: Every Year. Prelim Exam: May. Main Exam: Nov-Dec. Age: 18-27 Years. Qualification: Matriculate or Twelve Passed.
2. Indian Air Force Airman Exams (Technical Trade): Once in a year for unmarried Indian male. Qualification: Matriculate/ Equivalent (60%). Height: 152.5 Cm. Age: 16-19 Years.
3. Indian Air Force Airman (Non-Technical Trade: Once ayear for unmarried Indain Male. Matriculate (45% Marks). Height: 152.5 Cm. Age: 15-18 Years
4. Indian Navy Sailors Matric Entry Recruitment Exam: Once in a year. Qualifitn: Matriculate with Science/Math (55%). Or XII Passed with Physics and Maths (50%).
5. Indian Navy Artificer Apprentices Exam: Age: 15-18: Qualification: Matric (65%) Or, Class XII Passed (60%) with Physics and Maths. Conducted once in a year.
6. Indian Navy Dock-Yard Apprentices Exam: Twice in a year for Matriculates. Age: 14-19 Years (24 Years for ST/ SC).Height: 150 Cm. Weight: 45 Kg.
7. Indian Army Soldier Technical Exam: Conducted once a Year for Matriculate. Age: 16-24 years. Height: 167 Cm. Weights: 50 Kg.
8. Indian Army Soldier Nursing Assistant Exam: Four Times in a year for Matriculates: Age: 16-23 Years. Height: 167 Cm. Weights: 50 Kg.
9. Indian Army Soldiers General Duty: Twice in a year for Unmarried Male Indian. Qualification: Matriculate. Age: 16-21 Years. Height: 167 Cms. Weights: 50 Kgs.
10. Indian Army Soldier Clerks Exam: Conducted Four Times in a Year for Indian male. Age: 16-23 Years. Height: 167 Cms. Weights: 50 Kgs. Qualification: Matriculates.
11. Indian Railways (Field Worker: Male/Female): Qualification: Matric+ Certificate in Family Planning. Age: 20-30 Years.
12. BSF Constable (General Duty): Age =18-23 Years. Height =165 cms.Chest = 76-81 cm Vision= 6/6 and 6/9. Physical Test = 1 Mile Race, 11 Ft Long Jump, 3.5 Ft High Jump. Written Tests = G.K + Essay writing+ Dictation+ Maths.
13. SSB Constable (General Duty): Age = 18-23 Years (28 Years for ST/SC). Chest=30cm. Height = 170 cms. Qualification: Matriculate.
14. SSB Head Constable: Age =18-23 Yrs (28 Yrs for ST/SC). Qualification: Matriculate.
15. CBI Constable: Age = 18-27 Yrs (32 Yrs for ST/ SC). Matriculate. Height = 165 cm (B). Competitive Exams for Central Services after PassingTDC (Graduates):
1. Combined Graduate Level Exam: Conducted by Staff Selection Commission for Posts of:
*Assistant Grade (Group-B Non Gazette). * S.I in Central Excise, Income Tax, Preventive Officers in Custom House and Assistant Enforcement Office.
* S.I in CBI. * S.I in BSF, CRPF, ITBP, Delhi Police and CISF. * Divisional Accountant/Auditors/ Junior Accountant/ UDC. Age Limit:
*(20 -27 Yrs for Asst. Grade+ S.I in Delhi Police and S.I in CBI) * (18 -27 Yrs for Inspectors in Central Excise, Income Tax, Customs, Divisional Accountant/Auditors/UDCs. (21- 27 Yrs for S.I in BSF, CRPF, Delhi Police, ITBP and CISF). *Qualification: Any Graduate.
* Stages of Examination: Prelim Exam (objective Type) In the Month of February Every Year. Main Exam: September/ October. Advertisement in November of the previous year.
2. State Bank Probationary Officers Exam: Conducted by Banking Service Recruitment Board in the month of February every year.
Age: 21-30 yrs. (5 Yrs relax forST/ SC)

3. Nationalised Bank Probationary Officers Exam: Conducted by Banking Service Recruitment Board once a year. Age: 21-30 yrs. For ST/ SC 5 yrs extra.
4. Bank Clerical Exam: Conducted by Banking Service Recruitment Board for the posts of Clerk/ Steno/Typist/ Casheir Data entry & Telephone Operator. Basic Knowledge on Computer/Typing/ Stenograph is required.
5. RBI Grade”B” Officers Exam: Conducted by the RBI Selection Board in the month of February for B.A First Class/ M.A Second Class candidates.
6. Section Officer’s Audit Exam: Conducted by the Staff Selection Board in the month of September every year for Graduates/ B.A. Age: 18-27 yrs. Form Submission: May.
7. Investigators Exam: Form Submission in August.Exam Date: October.Age: 20-26 Yrs. Qualification: Graduate with Math/ Economics/ Statistics.(ST/ SC 5 Yrs Relax).
8. Transmission Executive Exam: Form Submission: January- February. Exam Date: May. Age: 18-30 Yrs. Qualification: Any Graduate. Exam Scheme: Written and Personality Test.
9. GIC Assistant Administrative Officers Exam: Exams held in February. Age: 21-30 yrs. Qualification: B.A/ TDC. Exam Scheme: Written (Objective Type) & Interview.
10. LIC Assistant Administrative Officers Exam: Form submission: April-May: Exam Date: June every year. Age: 21-28 Yrs. Qualification: Any Graduates.
11. LIC Development Officers Exam: Form Submission: July-August. Exam Date: September. Qualification: Any Graduates. Age: 21 years above.
12. LIC Assistants/ Steno /Typist Exam: Any Graduates or Class 12 Passed with (60%) Age: 18-28 yrs.
13. GIC Assistant Exam: Form Submission: March to 2nd Week of April. Exam Date: August. Age: 18-28 yrs. Qualifictaion: Graduate or 12th Passed (60%). Exam: Written and Interview.
14. BSNL Junior Engineer: Age: 17-27 Yrs. Qualification: 3 Years Diploma in Engineering.
(C). Civil Services Examination: Conducted by Union Public Service Commission for the posts of IAS/IFS/IPS/IRS/Central Secretariat Service & 21 Allied Services.
*Form submission= Dec-January. * Prelim Exam = May * Main Exam = Oct -Nov.
* Interview = after announcement of Main Exam Result
