IMPHAL, Sept 8: MPSC defeated SSU by 3-1 while NISA defeated YWC by 3-1 in today’s matches of 6th Manipur State League Football Tournament held at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium.
In the first ground between MPSC and SSU, M Somochand, I Nilakumar and Ksh Kanta scored one goal each for MPSC while Kh Naoba scored the solitary goal for SSU.
In the second ground between NISA and YWC, L Ratan, Golmei and Th Borish scored one goal each for NISA while Ajitkumar scored the lone goal for YWC.
Ruben Paite of NISA and L Dewan of YWC were booked yellow cards.
In the point tally, NISA is leading with 15 points followed by TRAU at 8 points and MPSC at 7 points.
