IMPHAL, Oct 22: The first edition of Chengjapao Doungel Memorial Trophy, 2011 concluded today at Chengjapao Doungel Playground, Haijang Singngat Sub-division, Churachandpur.
TZMT lifted the trophy after beating NYC by 1-0.
The trophy was organized by HAYWA and CDKRaF in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra, Churachandpur in memory of the late freedom fighter and Kuki Raja Chengjapao Doungel.
The winning team was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 20,000 while the runner-up received a cash prize of Rs. 10,000.
Singngat MLA T Hangkhanpao, Rachel N Guite, SDO/BDO Singngat, Lunkhosei Haokip, DYASO Churachandpur and Haokholian Munluo graced the concluding function as the chief guest, guests of honour and president respectively.
