“Not only this but the state had also witnessed the killing of Kasom Khullen SDO Dr Th Kishan and his two accomplices in 2009 and many other such instances which means that there is no law and order in the state and that the SPF has totally failed to provide good governance to the people”, he further added.

He further expressed his belief that the record breaking economic blockade this year along the National Highways of the state was imposed only with the consent and instigation of the SPF government.

Further elaborating on the issue he stated that if the SPF had really cared for the people of the state, then it could have solved the issue of the Sadar Hill issue and the subsequent counter economic blockade of the UNC instead of hurriedly ending the blockades just before the arrival of the Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and the AICC chief Sonia Gandhi during the first week of December.

He further appealed to the people to understand the SPF government that has failed to understand the needs and wants of the general public.

Meanwhile, bringing up the issue of corruption in the country and the state, PV Acharya stated that the Lok Ayukta and the Lok Pal bills will root out corruption from the entire country.
