IMPHAL, Dec 5: The 14th foundation day cum one-day political convention of Manipur State Congress Party (MSCP) was held today at GM Hall, Imphal.
The foundation day was attended by former minister and advisor of MSCP, Ch Manihar, MSCP president Y Mani and MSCP spokesperson Vivekraj Wangkhem as the chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
Speaking at the function, Vivekraj stated that the MSCP was the main political party behind the formation of “Secular Progressive Front” in the state. The party has been serving all these years for the progress and development of the state.
He further maintained that the party will leave no stone unturned to get back the office complex which is currently occupied by BJP Manipur Pradesh.
The spokesperson also decried the Prime Minister for not mentioning any word on AFSPA during his recent visit to the state.
