IMPHAL, Jan 13: Continuing in the series of bomb attack at the residences of Congress candidates and workers by the unidentified militants since last few days, unidentified person suspected to be militants carried more bomb attacks at the residences of three Congress workers today at different places.
The first incident occurred at the residence of Ningthoujam Birendro 50, son of Nambol Laishram Maning Leikai this morning around 5.30 am.One lethod bomb was exploded at his residential courtyard but there were no report of human casualties.
The second incident took place at the residence of Lairanjam Sanial, 35, of Uripok Achom Leikai where one live hand grenade lobbed by militants was found inside his residential campus this morning around 10am.
The hand grenade has since been collected by the Imphal police from the spot this mornig.
In the third incident some unidentified militants placed one hand grenade at the residence of an active worker of the Congress candidate N Loken of Nambol A/C, Wahengbam Sunil of Ishok Maning Leikai this morning around 11 am.
The hand grenade has since been removed safely by the Nambol police team from the spot this noon.
