IMPHAL, Jan 25: The Governor, Gurbachan Jagat has greeted the people of the state on the eve of the 63rd Republic Day of India. In his message, the Governor said, the Constitution of India which came into existence on this day has served as beacon to establish the rule of the law and assert the supremacy of the people. Indian democracy has stood the tests of time and the people’s power has been demonstrated time and again through the ballot in successive elections. He urged the people to reaffirm their resolve to take the added responsibilities and bounden duty to make the country stronger and more prosperous on the occasion.
