IMPHAL, Jan 31:Manipur entered the final of the BCCI associated and affiliated members U-22 cricket tournament by defeating Arunachal Pradesh by 119 runs at Shillong. Electing to bat first the Manipur lads amassed 198 runs with contributions from Jayenta, who top-scored with 67, Santosh (41), Rajesh (23) and Mahesh (17). They re-entered the field to shoot out AP for a paltry 79. Joychandra of Manipur did the maximum damage taking six wickets while Jenious, Homeshor, Mahesh and Sanjit shared the others.
