IMPHAL, January 7: Since filling of nominations for candidates of the 10th Manipur Legislative Assembly started on January 4, eight aspiring candidates of different political parties have filled their nominations at the State Election Office located at the Imphal west DC complex.
Five candidates namely Karam Shyam, Lok Jana Shakti party of Langthabal a/c; Hareshwore Goswami, Trinamool Congress of Yaiskul a/c; RK Amusana, CPI of Khurai a/c; Dr N Nando, BJP of Uripok a/c and Dr Ch Chandramani, MPP of Patsoi a/c filed their nominations yesterday on January 6.
Of the five Dr Ch Chandramani had already filed his nomination on January 5.
Meanwhile, CPI candidate Ph Irawat of Patsoi a/c by filling his name on January 4, was the first to file nomination for candidature of the 10th Manipur Assembly election at the Imphal west DC. Tombisana, of Heingang a/c had also filed his nomination on the first day.
On January 5, Dr Ch Chandramani MPP, of Patsoi a/c, Ningthoujam Sanajaoba, MPP of Bishnupur and A Lala, CPI of Kshetrigao had filed their nominations.
