UKHRUL, Jan 19: The Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong (TKS) has deeply condoled the demise of Wungmareo Shaiza, the first IAS cadre among the Naga communities.
Wungmareo had served the Tangkhul student community in various capacities and his relentless services will ever be cherished by the students in generations to come, said a release issued by TKS president Yangmi Kapai.
Recalling the works of Wungmareo Shaiza, the release said “with the outbreak of World War-II the Tangkhul Students Conference was inactive for about four years and during this critical time the student body was blessed with Wungmareo Shaiza who shouldered the responsibility of reorganising the TSC.”
It is because of the hard work of Wungmareo Shaiza that TKS has come so far and therefore he deserves befitting credit for what he had done for the welfare of student community during his life time, it stated.
