IMPHAL, January 14: A combined team of CDO Thoubal and 15 AR in search operation at Wangjing area today at around 9:20 and arrested one cadre of UPPK. The cadre identified as Moirangthem Totomsana @ Toto @ Nongsaba @ Tiger, 40, s/o M. Tombiyaima of Heirok Part-II Mayai Leikai.
The release said that at the preliminary interrogation reveals that the individual is involved for lobbing hand grenade at the residence of M Oken Singh, INC candidate of 33-Heirok A/C on 10/01/12.
