AMSU calls meet with parents to chalk out fees structure

IMPHAL, April 11: After a meeting with the school authorities of Catholic School, Chanchipur and AMSU on April 9, the school authorities has clarified that the computer fees will be Rs 600/- only instead of Rs 800 which is written on the pay slip, stated a press statement of the AMSU.

Further AMSU has asked the guardians who have already made the payment of Rs 800 to contact the school for reimbursement.    

It has also stated that St. Joseph School, Sangaiprou, Little Flower School, Kwakeithel and Nirmalabas High School, MG Avenue Road students need not pay the examination fees later as it has already been paid at the time of admission.

Also a meeting will be held along with the Parents Teacher Association (PTA) of the schools on April 19 at 4 pm at Little Flower School, Kwakeithel to discuss the monthly fees and computer fees of the schools.

AMSU has appealed the schools not to ask students to pay the fees before the meeting.

Further, it has also stated that the schools under BOSEM who are collecting a monthly fee of Rs 500/- should reduce immediately. AMSU has also appeal the school authorities of Tiny Tots Unique School, Dewlaland and RK Sanatombi Devi Vidyalaya to submit a report on collecting high charges of school fees on April 4 at 3 pm it added.
