IMPHAL, April 24: AYMFA, Yairipok defeats RUVFA, Kadangban by 3-0 in the first ground match of the ongoing 14th edition challenge Cup Veteran Football tournament at Mapal Kangjeibung Imphal.
Md A Kalam, T Thangson and MV Habun scored for the Yairipok team.
In the other match of the day, KVFA was locked in a 1-1 draw with FC Imphal.
N Jiten scored for KVFA while Th Krishna scored for FC Imphal.
FC Imphal which is leading the Group C with 7 points and KVFA which is in second place with 5 points have both entered the quarter finals from the group.
