IMPHAL, Apr 2: The Innovative Youth Society (Chinjak Society) is all set to organize the 3rd edition of Chinjak Festival entitled “Chinjak Festival-III International” from April 20 to April 29 at the Iboyaima Shumang Leela Shanglen, Konung Lampak.
As the indigenous food of the region is one of the essential key components in developing a successful tourism industry in the state, the concept of the Chinjak festival with an objective of preservation, promotion and production of the various indigenous food of the state is a must to have a complete tourism industry.
Entrepreneurs from countries like Korea, China, Thailand, Laos, Singapore, Vietnam and Myanmar are expected to participate in this year’s nine-day Chinjak festival, a release said.
