IMPHAL, April 15: Chief secretary DS Poonia who has left for the national capital on an official tour has left his official intimation that the senior-most principal secretary of the state will dispose of such urgent administrative matters that cannot wait for his return.
However all such cases where the approval of the chief secretary as the Competent Financial Authority and/or as the State Vigilance Commissioner and any other cases regarding clearance for IAS officers of the Manipur part of MT cadre should wait for his return, informed a source.
The in-charge chief secretary should not approve any tour programmes outside the state and the concerned Principal Secretary/ Commissioner/ Secretary may wait for the Chief Secretary’s return or contact him over the telephone, the source added.
Staff officers have also been instructed the staff officers to maintain a record of all important papers, files, court cases etc processed during the Chief Secretary’s absence and submit the list on his return, the source added.
