IMPHAL, April 17: About 45 reputed colleges of the country some with international standings are all set to interact with students of the state and assist them in choosing the right course for the right career.
Come April 19, the colleges will all be seen in their respective stalls at the Northeast – Edufest-the Imphal International Education Fair all set to provide assistance to the students of the state.
The education fair is set for April 19 and 20. In a statement, the organizers have promised more opportunities than last year event.
“The exhibition has been timed after the examinations so that students can make a choice of course and college. Edufest in its 10 year career is seen by students as the only genuine forum to get quality information from top quality institutions from India and abroad. It will be no different this time too” added the statement.
Students of the state will be able to interact with representatives of the leading institutions and discuss their study options and plan accordingly, the statement said.
The institutions include Amity University, NITTE University, Sharda University, to name a few.
Students will also have an opportunity to meet representatives of institutions from New Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata besides from other places of India at this exhibition, it added.
Apart from conventional courses such a MBBS, BDS, Engineering, BBA, MBA, BCA and MCA, the fair will provide an opportunity for students to check out, Merchant Navy, Biotech, Fashion Design, Physiotherapy, Animation, Design, Mass Communication and other new courses dictated by the changing global dynamics, the statement added.
