LAMKA, May 10: The All Lamka Taxi Owners Society (ALTOS) has called off the bandh from midnight of May 9 following an agreement between the society and representatives of the state government.
The agreement was reached during a meeting held between the leaders of ALTOS and representatives of the state government yesterday at the state transport minister’s chamber, sources said.
The ALTOS, a body of Tata Winger vans enforced an indefinite bandh along the Imphal-Churachandpur route to put pressure on the government over various demands which includes van service timings and parking areas.
