IMPHAL, May 6: Discovering the movement of UG cadres in Nungourok, troops of 42 Assam Rifles of 26 Scoter under HQ IGAR (South) launched operation in the area and apprehended one PREPAK cadre yesterday. The apprehended person was identified as self-styled major Md Obedulla alias Ibomcha son of Md Abdulla of Kairak Muslim Makha Leikai, Kakching. One 9 mm pistol with two live rounds was recovered from the apprehended person, who along with the recovery was handed over to Kakching Police station.
