IMPHAL, May 11: The Assam Rifles has denied the claim of the family members of the 3 dead ‘terrorists’ that the May 9 encounter near Chadong was staged by AR, according to a release issued by PRO, IGAR (S). It said, it is a false propaganda spread by the family.
The statement added, the three deceased ‘terrorists’ rather than joining the mainstream created their own breakway faction to disrupt peace and tranquility in the region.
