IMPHAL, May 13: A team of medical officers and paramedical staff of 9 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector under HQ IGAR (South) organised a Medical Camp at Moreh of Chandel district yesterday.
More than 180 persons from Moreh and nearby areas were benefited from the camp. An interactive session was also organised with the villagers and they were educated about various diseases including AIDS, dental problems, malaria and precautionary measures.
The camp was a huge success during which children and women patients were rendered medical attention and medicines were also distributed to them. The villagers expressed their gratitude to the unit for the humanitarian service, a release informed.
