IMPHAL, May 19: A day after the release of his book entitled “Highway 39: Journeys Through a Fractured Land,” author Sudeep Chakravorty attended a press briefing at Jupiter Yambem Centre, Paona Bazar today.
Speaking to media persons he said, he has already authored five books including the one released yesterday.
Elaborating on his just released book, he said, he had made personal trips of all the areas depicted in the book in between 2007 and 2010.
He also expressed that he could have easily released the book at some other states, however he wanted to release the book amongst the people facing difficulties along the highway on a daily basis.
He also expressed his desire to translate the book into Manipuri so as to attract more readers in the State.
