IMPHAL, May 27: As part of the “Nano Tour” sponsored by Tata Company, Thomas Chacko from Kerala has arrived in Imphal today.
The main objective of the tour that started from Mumbai on May 3 is to promote national integration among different states of the country, Thomas told reporters at Hotel Classic here.
He said he has finished one-third of the trip spread across 12 states covering about 7000 kms. Thomas also said he will further cross Aizawl via Silchar on the National Highway-37 (Imphal-Jiribam road) and later visit Agartala
After touring the Northeast, he will continue the trip by visiting Guarkha in the west and Kargil in the North, he added.
