IMPHAL, May 17: SAI, NERC, Imphal has clarified the allegation made against the director, SAI, NERC, Imphal for misconduct over the setting up of a High Altitude Training Centre here in Imphal that it is false.
According to a release of the NERC, Imphal has said that there is no record as far as approval and sanction is concerned for setting up of High Altitude Training Centre at Imphal.
It also said that if desired the concerned association may seek clarification from the competent authority, New Delhi.
Further it has clarified that High Altitude Training Centre does not exist in Shillong, Meghalaya and the construction work for new SAG Centre at Shillong stared way back in the year 2003, not during the time of present director in-charge, SAI, NERC, Imphal.
Clarifying on the allegation made against the junior account officer of SAI, Sub-centre Guwahati for taking control over the accounts for SAI, NERC, Imphal that he is also responsible to look after the matters related to accounts for SAI, NERC, Imphal, as per instruction from SAI, HQ, New Delhi.
