IMPHAL, May 6: Big Brothers made an easy win 6-1 against IYC in the today’s first ground match while SSYC beat SAIPO by 2-1 in the second ground match of the NIVSO Cup football tournament held at Keibi Higher Secondary ground.
In the first ground match between Big Brothers and IYC, Daniel contributed five goals and Mochabi contributed one goal making a total of 6 goals for the Big Brothers. IYC was able to reply only one goal scored by K Jemson in 23 minutes of the game.
In the second ground match between SSYC and SAIPO, P Nga nga (SSYC) scored the first goal of the match in 12 minutes and it was soon equalized by Amarjit (SAIPO) in 18 minutes but soon again P Jinngampu (SSYC) added another goal for SSYC in 22 minutes, which SAIPO couldn’t reply and lost the match.
